A lot of people call us thinking they need to start from scratch, and sometimes that’s true. But often what a kitchen needs is a new floor, painted cabinets, a quartz counter, and a backsplash. That’s a fraction of the cost of a full remodel and it can look every bit as new.
When we walk your kitchen, we’ll tell you honestly which one you need. If the cabinet boxes are solid, we’ll say so and suggest refinishing. If they’re falling apart, we’ll say that too. We’re not trying to sell you the biggest job. We’re trying to solve the problem.
We come out, look at the space, talk through what’s bugging you and what you’re hoping for, and measure everything.
You get a written estimate with a project plan: scope, materials, order of work, timeline, and cost. We help with selections and bring samples of flooring, tile, and counter materials.
Old cabinets, counters, and floors come out. We protect the rest of the house and haul everything off. Subfloor and walls get checked and repaired.
Plumbing and electrical changes, framing, drywall.
Cabinets installed and leveled. Counters templated, fabricated, and set.
Tile, flooring, paint, trim, lighting, fixtures, and hardware.
We check the work during the job and twice at the end, crew leader and project manager, before you do the final walk. Every kitchen gets inspected before, during, and after.
A cabinet refinish and floor might take a week. A full remodel usually runs three to six weeks depending on scope and material lead times. We’ll give you a real timeline and keep you posted as we go.
We know you still have to eat. We’ll help you set up a temporary kitchen spot, keep the dust contained, keep the work area clean at the end of each day, and stick to the schedule so you’re not without a kitchen longer than necessary. You’ll always know what’s happening next.
Kitchens have a reputation for blowing past the budget. Usually that’s because the estimate was vague or the contractor found something behind the wall and didn’t say anything until the invoice. We handle it differently. Your estimate is detailed. If we find something unexpected, you hear about it that day with options and costs. You decide. Nothing gets added without your say-so.
We’re usually not the cheapest kitchen bid and usually not the highest. What we try to be is the most direct one: here’s what your kitchen needs, here’s what it takes to do it right, and here’s what that costs.
